There is this new diet technique called the ‘Sleep Diet’. Since it is being promoted by a celebrity (Jennifer Lopez), it is slowly gaining in popularity. She also said that the ‘Sleep Diet’ technique helped her lose weight after having a baby.
So what is the ‘Sleep Diet’ technique?
In simple terms, it is just the act of sleeping away our weight problems. Since no calories is taken in during sleep and calories continue to burn during sleep, we lose weight. It is that simple. It is like adding 0 to -1 (0 + (-1) = -1). Unfortunately, it doesn’t work for me XD . I love to sleep but I still don’t lose weight.
However, don’t get me wrong. Sleep is essential to be healthy. Without enough sleep our bodily functions won’t work properly. We will be sluggish upon waking up in the morning. All I am saying is that all this hype around the ‘Sleep Diet’ is too much to be taken seriously.
