Michael Phelps, who won a record eight gold medals at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing China, met with a traffic car accident in Baltimore, Maryland, on Thursday night, but was uninjured, police said. Phelps’ Cadillac Escalade collided with a Honda Accord at the intersection of North Calvert Street and East Biddle Street
Phelps had 2 passengers with him but were also uninjured. While the woman driver of the other vehicle was said to be “shaken” and was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
According to the police, alcohol was not a factor of the accident.
