Old Instructions 
If you are using Twitter and addicted to tweeting (or is that twitting?) and you have a Nokia E71, you’ll probably love this. Yes, you can now twit using your Nokia E71 phone for free! So how do you use twitter from E71? Yet again, Fring comes to the rescue. If you have installed Fring using my Free Call via E71 App instructions, then you are already set to twit! So once again here are the step-by-step instructions that you can follow to twit on the E71:

1. First, open your Fring application.
2. Then, go to the 3rd tab above.
3. Choose Twitter and login using your account.
4. That’s it! You can now receive and send tweets via E71!

The only downside to this is you can’t fully use all of Twitter’s functionalities (like following a fellow twitter…). But hey you got the main one right and that’s what is important.

However, if you do have money to burn, you could check out the E71 app, Gravity. This app is not free, it is worth $10 and has a 10 day trial. So if you really are addicted to Twitter and can’t live without it, then this one is for you.

( I just realized that ‘twit’ is a verb and ‘tweet’ is a noun. So when you ‘twit’, you’ll have a ‘tweet’ …)

New instructions
Here is the updated instructions:

1. Download the latest version of Fring from FRING LATEST
2. Once installed, go to the third tab and choose Twitter 2.0 . Take note choose version 2 and not the chat only version.
3. Login and voila you’re done!

I guess the cool thing about this new version is the new interface and the fact that you can now use all of twitters cool functions! Best of all, it is free!!!
