During the holiday last week, I tried to cook one of my favorite meals I buy from ‘The Sandwich Guy’ eatery, the seafood pesto pasta, and here is what came up with:
I know the picture I took does not look too good but the seafood pesto did taste quite good! In the image above you could see baked potatoes over the seafood pesto (my sister was experimenting with baked potatoes herself..). If you want to try it out, here are the ingredients and the instructions:
Ingredients:
- 1/2kg of spaghetti pasta
- 1 bottle of pesto sauce
- 1 pack of crushed salted peanuts
- Grated cheese
- Parmesan chees
- 1 can of tuna sardines
- 1 teaspoon of olive oil
Instructions:
- Heat some water in a casserole for around 5 minutes. Once water is a bit warm, put in the pasta, sprinkle it with some salt and put in the teaspoon of olive oil.
- While waiting for the pasta to get cooked, separate the tuna flakes from the tuna sardines into a saucer.
- Once the pasta is cooked, mix in the tuna flakes, pesto sauce, grated cheese, parmesan cheese and the grounded salted peanuts in a big enough microwave-oven-safe bowl.
- Mix them properly and put the bowl into the microwave oven for 3 minutes using medium power.
- And after 3 minutes, voila! It’s done.
