Fire and ice fireplace sounds absurd right? Wrong! There exists such a fireplace where fire can burn with ice as its fuel. Well, in reality this is just a play of words. The “Ice” as seen from the picture above is actually glass (tricky huh…).

Additionally, the official term for this product is Fire on Ice which was invented by Mark Georgantas. According to their website, it is a “..specially formulated tempered glass which is an elegant competitive alternative to gas logs for use in fireplaces, fire tables, or fire pits…”.
