What is your E71 web browser? There are at least 3 E71 web browsers out there. The default Nokia web browser, Skyfire and Opera Mini. As for me, I use the Opera Mini web browser. Why? Because I like it more than the Nokia default browser. It is more stylish and I guess more user friendly than the default one.

Actually, what I don’t like about the Nokia web browser is its slow loading of pages. On the other hand, Opera Mini loads pages quite fast. I guess it is not the most popular mobile web browser for nothing. If you are interested, you may download it here => Opera Mini Download.

As for Skyfire, I haven’t tried it before because it was not available for people outside of the US as of the time I was trying to try it. Skyfire boasts that you can surf the internet in the same manner you do in a PC. That means you can watch videos, listen to audio, etc… as you would do in a PC which the default web browser and Opera Mini can’t do. If you are interested in knowing more about Skyfire, you can check it out here => Skyfire.

I might try it out once it is available outside the North America and Europe.

I used skyfire for a while (im from the uk) and although its a lot better than the nokia browser (properly rendered pages, flash within pages, etc.) it is painfully slow and somewhat bloated. Watching a streaming vid is choppy (tried this with a super fast wifi connection as well as network) and it appears that skyfire just zaps too much processing power to render the video in time.

Haven't tried opera but ill give it a go, im not using it for anything that requires security so going through the servers shouldnt be a problem

@Mike, ah ganun ba - ano pinagkaiba ng Opera Mobile sa Mini?

Lam ko may Opera Mobile din. Works but it ain't free. Opera Mini relies on prerendering your visited web page para optimized for phone browsing. The problem is: your data is going through opera's servers. I'm not sure I'd want that if I'm visiting my bank's website.

Haven't tried skyfire. Ok lang naman default web browser ng e71 para sa akin.
