Disposable lab coats are what you need if you do not work in a laboratory frequently. Just like your ordinary clothes that you wear to keep yourself from dirt and keep you comfy, lab coats are designed to keep your clothes from getting dirty and thus save yourself from a couple of washes. These coats are normally made of regular cotton but the problem with that is cotton is dirt-prone and is hard to wash. Thus, with the advent of technology, businessmen created a new niche out of this problem and created disposable ones for sale to lab goers. But do you really need one?
The answer lies on several factors but let us just take a look at some of the most important ones. First and foremost is the house rule (or the lab rule if you want…). Do the rules allow you to use a disposable one as against a regular coat? If the answer is yes then it is in your best interest to get one especially if your regular lab coat is still out in the sun to be dried.
Second, do you go to the lab often? If you only go to the lab several times a month, then it is best that you buy a disposable one rather than a regular one as this can save you money.
Third, what do you do in the lab? If your work in the lab entails you getting dirty a lot, then it is good option to make use of ready to throw lab coats. This is because regular coats are hard to wash and clean. What’s more, since you work in a lab, you would not know what substance or microorganism found its way into your coat so it safer to use a disposable one for safety purposes.
Yes, using disposable lab coats is a good option to consider. It is cheap and would not give you headaches when it comes to washing and cleaning time.

If you bought a Baby Einstein, then you might be eligible for the Baby Einstein recall. Disney is offering a full refund of $15.99 to anyone who purchased a Baby Einstein DVD between June 5, 2004 and Sept. 4, 2009. The reason behind this is prominent research shows that these videos are ineffective thus are worthless.
“We see it as an acknowledgment by the leading baby video company that baby videos are not educational, and we hope other baby media companies will follow suit by offering refunds.” said Susan Linn, director of Campaign for a Commercial-Free Childhood.
Really then, the secret to an intelligent baby relies not on any educational DVD but on the parents themselves. Train them right from a tender age and expect your babies to grow up as intellectual individuals.

It is the flu season once again and of course we want ourselves and our family to stay healthy. One of the best ways to do so is by having a flu shot. Where do you find a clinic that administers one? Here comes the flu shot locator.
This locator is not an electronic device. It is simply a website (or websites) to help us find clinics that administer the flu shot. You just type in your zip code, desired radius and preferred time and the website will show you data that you are looking for.
Here are 2 sites offering such service:

What is an acne pillowcase? I honestly do not know. However, this phrase seems popular in the internet right now. I hope its not a pillowcase full of acne! But we can certainly relate acne to pillowcases. How?
According to dermatologists and allergists, clean pillowcases can help prevent the spread of Acne Facial Blemishes and Acne Flares. In other words, if you do not want to aggravate your current acne, make sure you use a clean pillowcase every night.

It seems the “clunker” mania is not ending yet. Now, after the Cash for Clunkers program, the government is introducing another…for the kitchen. Many call it the Cash for Kitchen Clunkers program but some call it the Cash for Old Appliance program. Whatever the name of the program is, it all works the same.
The concept is the same with the original CARS program. Drop your old appliance for a new one and the government will reward you with rebates. It’s a win-win-win situation. Consumers get new appliances for a rebate, dealers make more sales and the government has done their part to stimulate the economy and at the same time help save the environment!
On the other hand, do not expect that this program will be a smashing success as the CARS program. Though it will definitely help, this program is not expected to be a “smash hit”. It is said that the maximum rebates would revolve around $200.
How effective this program would be remains to be seen. But it is definitely good to see that something is being done to revive the economy back to health via this Cash for Kitchen Clankers program.
