You probably have encountered this challenge before where you wanted to have a spreadsheet of yours embedded into your web page or blog post. If you are familiar with HTML, you could use the TABLE tag. Or if you use a CMS like WordPress (some say WP is not a CMS but that is another topic for discussion) you can copy the cells in a spreadsheet and past it in the VISUAL pane when writing a post. But there is a better way. Yes, it involves the Google Docs product. Let us see how to embed Google Spreadsheets into a web page or blog posts.
- Upload your spreadsheet into Google Docs
- Select the uploaded spreadsheet
- Click the SHARE button at the top right and then click PUBLISH AS A WEB PAGE
- Select the sheets to publish and then under the GET A LINK TO THE PUBLISHED DATA, select HTML TO EMBED IN A PAGE
- Copy the code generated in the bottom text box and paste it into your web page or blog post and that’s it!
So there you have it. The 5 steps to embed google spreadsheets into a web page or blog post.

Just bought a brand new TV and am looking for Cable TV providers in the Philippines. Now, I am not a big TV watcher and more hooked to the internet (for both work and leisure…). I am considering of applying for a cable TV connection to watch important news and NBA games
. Another reason is having an old-school antenna is not possible at my place. Thus, I tried to search for providers online and here is what I found:
Sky Cable
Of the 4 in this list, Sky Cable has the most beautiful website. They have the Sky Cable Starter package which is priced at P280 per month, not bad…They have what I want, the news and the BTV (basketball channel). However, new subscribers have to pay P2000. Let us check out the other providers.
Global Destiny
The lowest plan is at P500. And with that comes the following benefits:
- NO INSTALLATION FEE!!!
- Crystal clear signal
- 85+ Channels
- First 100 ft. cable is provided at no cost; in excess, pay P10/ft.
- Just pay 3 months advance (P1,500) upon connection
- Monthly billing starts on the 4th month
- Additional P50.00/mo. for every TV extension plus one-time fee of P200 for materials
In terms of what I want, Sky and Global are equal. They have what I want. In terms of everything else, I think Global has an edge. They have more channels and in the short run is cheaper than Sky. In the long run though, Sky would be cheaper, you do the math
Cablelink
I don’t like their website. It is not user friendly and it is not suitable for marketing as well. They have done a bad job on this. They also do not have Basketball TV. FAIL.
Home Cable
No website??? FAIL FAIL FAIL.
So there. Those are the only providers I was able to find online. If you see more, please let me know.

So is it really possible to make money with CPALead? The short answer to that is a resounding YES! I am one of the living proofs of that statement
I am not posting a screenshot of my earnings here because it doesn’t really matter (it is really up to you if you trust me…). But if you want to know, I made $191.43 on my first month with CPALead! I’ll get paid by December 31, 2009.
What is CPALead?
According to wealthbytes.com, “CPALead.com was established in 2006 by two young entrepreneurs who’s goal was to be the leading pioneers of the Internet Gaming marketing and advertising industry. It all started when MMORPG (Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) owners Troy Krzyston and Robert Reynolds decided they wanted a better way to generate money in their games other than standard banner advertising. That’s when they created the patented ILNS and ICD tools, the best thing to ever hit the incentivised marketing world.“.
How does CPALead work?
CPALead acts as a content gateway. That means they “police” your website and won’t let anyone in unless the visitor will fill out some surveys. Now, this surveys are not useless surveys but rather are useful ones making this setup a win-win for both you and the visitor. Once they have filled out the survey, you get paid. As simple as that.
Does it really work?
Yes. If you still do not believe me, you can check out this guy who made more than $1,000 in less than 15 days and this guy who made $1000+ in one month.
Once you are convinced and would like to try out this program, make sure to apply for a CPALead Account here.

Fire and ice fireplace sounds absurd right? Wrong! There exists such a fireplace where fire can burn with ice as its fuel. Well, in reality this is just a play of words. The “Ice” as seen from the picture above is actually glass (tricky huh…).
Additionally, the official term for this product is Fire on Ice which was invented by Mark Georgantas. According to their website, it is a “..specially formulated tempered glass which is an elegant competitive alternative to gas logs for use in fireplaces, fire tables, or fire pits…”.
Benefits of using this product are:
- Easy to assemble and install
- Environmentally safe
- No popping cinders
- No soot or dirt
- No Pollution
- Mesmerizing
- Burns clean
- Safe
- Affordable
- No mess ever
- Lasts a lifetime
- Instant ambiance
- Interchangeable colors
- Specially formulated glass
The “ice” sells for $6.

Are you looking for a Facebook App for your Nokia E71? Well, the OVI store has officially released one and all of us E71 lovers can take advantage of it! This one did not have a “press release” but needless to say would be a big hit.
Here is the link to the Facebook App page.
My initial review is that this app is a good initial app that bridges the gap between the E71 and Facebook. There is a lot of improvements to be had though. For example, the chat feature of Facebook is not available in the phone app. But for now I’ll give it a 9 out of 10 rating.

Before giving out a tip or two, what is Fishville? Fishville is the latest Facebook game from Zynga! After the smashing success of Farmville, a game where you create and maintain a farm, Zynga has introduced another game which has a lot of potential of being another winner.
Some say that this game is like an underwater Farmville. But in my opinion, this game is more like Tamagochi (remember the small pocket-size gadget kids of the 90s where crazy with??) where you need to make sure you feed your fish every now and then.
Now on to some tips. Like in Farmville, if you do not harvest your crops in time, they will wither and die. The same is true with Fishville. If you do not feed your fish with food, they will die. What you need to be careful of is that you need to know when you need to feed your fish. There are those that takes hours before you need to feed them and there are those that only takes minutes. If you got some fish that needs feeding every few minutes, then you need to be vigilant in feeding them or else they die which happened to me a lot of times. Thus, I resorted to using my kitchen timer so that I won’t forget LOLZ!
Another good tip would be to find neighbors as soon as possible. Like Farmville, you need them to unlock some items. I haven’t fully played Fishville yet but I am sure that your neighbors can help you take care of your fish like how you can take care of your neighbor’s farm in Farmville.
If you haven’t played it yet, go and create an account now so you’ll get the benefit of leveling-up early. By the way, this Fishville game is still in Beta so if you sign up now you’ll have a lot of head start.
Also stay tuned for more Fishville tips in the future!
