Adjustable Charcoal Grill

Adjustable Charcoal Grill image

Adjustable charcoal grills are what we use when we dome some barbecuing. We all love BBQ. Whether it is barbecued beef or simply grilled fish, they are all delicious. Most of the time, the taste of these delicacies are taken for granted and the equipments and processes of cooking them are left to the one cooking. This is no big deal though. You do not need to know how to cook something if all you want to do is savor the taste of the dish. You also do not need to know the utensils used in cooking. But right now let us take a look at what utensil is used to barbecue stuff.

Let us go straight to the point. Charcoal grills (the whole apparatus) are used when barbecuing. Charcoal is put onto the grill and heated so that it starts to burn and produces a lot of heat. Once the charcoal is hot enough, you put whatever needs to be barbecued on top of the framework of metal bars (also called grill). The person cooking has to watch what he is cooking or else he might end up not barbecuing but smothering.

Grilling (or barbecuing) is a fun thing to do especially if you have a grill which can be adjusted easily. If you are doing all the grilling and the grill puts you in an uncomfortable position while watching over it then that is not fun. Additionally, the grill (the framework of metal bars) should also be adjustable. You should be able to adjust its height so as to be able to place whatever you are cooking further or nearer from the heat thus in essence controlling the amount of heat being applied to whatever you are cooking.

Hence, if you are going to make grilling your hobby, then it is advisable that you buy an adjustable charcoal grill. Doing so will make the task enjoyable and more comfortable for you.

Jules Verne Restaurant

s

I’ve never been to the Eiffel tower or to France for that matter. But when it comes to romantic places, then France is the ultimate love capital of the world and Eiffel tower would be the center of it. But to add to that, the Jules Verne Restaurant would be the center of that center!

Bringing your girlfriend or your wife here will definitely score you more points (lol). The downside is you would have to book a table up to three months in advance while average meal cost for each person is around $279!

So if you have all the time in the world and money is of no object, then book a flight to France, book a table for 2 at the Jules Verne Restaurant and celebrate your love with your loved one.

As the whole world prepares not only for the resurgence of the swine flu but also for the seasonal flu, it is wise to plan ahead of time and give some thought on how to preempt or treat any flu if necessary. Yes, there is news of vaccines being developed to combat the swine flu but it might not be enough. Of course, the best option is to see a doctor when we suspect that we have a serious flu but there are some things we can buy and keep a supply at home of in case we need to be home-quarantined. See below for this list according to prnewswire.com:

In case the second wave of swine flu is severe enough to warrant home confinement, consumers should pack an emergency kit in advance. You will need:

* A two-week supply of food and water.
* Fever reducers, such as acetaminophen, ibuprofen, or naproxen.
* Cough and cold medications containing chlorpheniramine, diphenhydramine, oxymetazoline, and pseudoephedrine and lozenges with dyclonine, glycerin, or honey can help ease symptoms.
* Electrolyte drinks, such as Gatorade or Powerade, to keep you hydrated.
* Hand sanitizer with at least 60 percent alcohol, such as Purell, to kill viruses when

soap and water aren’t available.

* Surgical masks with an FDA rating of at least N-95 to help prevent spreading the flu. Masks need to be replaced often and disposed of after use.

For all emergencies, Consumer Reports recommends packing at least three days’ worth of nonperishable food; at least one gallon of water per person, per day; a first-aid kit that includes any prescription or over-the-counter medications your family might need; as well as antihistamines for allergic reactions, pain relievers, stomach and antidiarrhea remedies, and antacids.

How to Cook Seafood Pesto Pasta

During the holiday last week, I tried to cook one of my favorite meals I buy from ‘The Sandwich Guy’ eatery, the seafood pesto pasta, and here is what came up with:

Seafood Pesto Pasta

I know the picture I took does not look too good but the seafood pesto did taste quite good! In the image above you could see baked potatoes over the seafood pesto (my sister was experimenting with baked potatoes herself..). If you want to try it out, here are the ingredients and the instructions:

Ingredients:

  • 1/2kg of spaghetti pasta
  • 1 bottle of pesto sauce
  • 1 pack of crushed salted peanuts
  • Grated cheese
  • Parmesan chees
  • 1 can of tuna sardines
  • 1 teaspoon of olive oil

Instructions:

  1. Heat some water in a casserole for around 5 minutes. Once water is a bit warm, put in the pasta, sprinkle it with some salt and put in the teaspoon of olive oil.
  2. While waiting for the pasta to get cooked, separate the tuna flakes from the tuna sardines into a saucer.
  3. Once the pasta is cooked, mix in the tuna flakes, pesto sauce, grated cheese, parmesan cheese and the grounded salted peanuts in a big enough microwave-oven-safe bowl.
  4. Mix them properly and put the bowl into the microwave oven for 3 minutes using medium power.
  5. And after 3 minutes, voila! It’s done.
