You most probably know about the cash for clunkers program and how successful it went. Due to the high demand for cars, dealers are running out of cars that qualify for the program. To address this problem, the government is thinking of introducing a cash for clunkers voucher. How does this work?
Today, car buyers can only choose a car that is available in the dealer’s inventory. With the introduction of this voucher program, car owners can choose a qualified car under the program albeit getting it at a later date.
