The Brooks and Dunn break up was said to be timely and had no ulterior motives. According to the country music duo, they would break up after a farewell tour next year.

“After 20 years of making music and riding this trail together, we have agreed as a duo that it’s time call it a day,” they said.

The duo first hit the charts in 1991 and went on to become rich and famous. They have created history by becoming the biggest-selling duo in country music. 22.3 million albums has been sold in the US alone.

Darius Rucker has once again made another impact in the music scene. The former Hootie and The Blowfish lead singer has just won the Country Music Association New Artist of the Year and beat the likes of Zac Brown Band, Randy Hauser, Jake Owen and Jamey Johnson.

The DC sniper has been executed by lethal injections on Tuesday. John Allen Muhammad, the mastermind behind the Washington-area sniper attacks of 2002 that terrorized the nation’s capital was declared dead at 9:11 p.m. ET.

“There were no complications; Mr. Mohammad was asked if he wished to make a last statement,” Traylor, director of communications for the Virginia Department of Corrections. “He did not acknowledge this or make a last statement whatsoever.”

His death will surely give a sense of justice to the families of those he killed.
